Golf in Lombardy
44 courses
Lombardy is the region of the great lakes and of courses that have made history: at Monticello, which has hosted seven Italian Opens, the course record is 63 strokes, shared by Greg Norman and Costantino Rocca.
On Lake Garda, at Arzaga, a nine-hole Gary Player course has a green on a peninsula jutting into the water; at Salò, the Colombaro stands out among the olive groves. At Carimate, the clubhouse restaurant, designed by Vico Magistretti, gave its name to one of the best-known chairs in Italian design.
