The course at Golf Club Ambrosiano: 18 holes and 12 water hazards

The club was founded in 1992 thanks to the passion of a group of friends who bought 60 hectares from the Noè family, owners of the entire site. In the same year the American firm Cornish & Silva designed a course that the club describes as one of the most enjoyable and demanding in Italy: 18 holes, par 72, with large, heavily contoured greens, numerous bunkers and twelve holes affected by water, in lakes of different sizes.

The design is attributed to the well-known American architect Daniel Silva, who transformed flat land into a varied course for golfers of every level. The official scorecard measures 6,281 metres from the white tees, 6,047 from the yellow and 5,437 from the green; for women, 5,567 from the blue, 5,316 from the red and 4,751 from the orange.

From the white tees the four par 5s all exceed 460 metres: the 1st (495), the 8th (470), the 10th (512 metres) and the 17th (478). The handicap 1 hole is the 12th, a 420-metre par 4; among the par 3s, the 3rd is the longest, at 196 metres from the whites, while the 16th stops at 148.

The club: clubhouse, swimming pool and academy

The clubhouse brings together a lounge, bar and restaurant with a veranda overlooking the course and the swimming pool, plus a TV area, a card room and a billiard table. The restaurant stays open every Saturday evening. The swimming pool, opened in July 2013, measures 15 metres by 6, with a depth of 1.40, and is available to members and their families from early May to the end of September, with free umbrellas and sunbeds. There is also a gym with Panatta equipment and a pro shop.

The golf academy offers individual lessons, courses for young players, clinics and mini clinics. The pro Jason Lewis has been at the club since 1994, while Roberto Recchione leads the junior section. The calendar includes the club championship, the Summer Trophy 2026 and other competitions.
