Two green fees per room per night: that is how Verdura builds its Golf Inclusive, while at Terme di Saturnia the second player pays half. Twelve Italian hotels sell golf as part of the stay, but each counts the rounds in its own way.
A golf package looks like a simple formula: you sleep, you play, you pay once. In reality, two offers with the same name can cover very different things: one green fee a day, two green fees for the whole stay, unlimited play. Per-person rates change with the season and the room; what matters, when comparing the packages of twelve hotels, is to understand what is included, for how many nights and when.

Unlimited play: Is Molas and Cala di Volpe
The most generous formula is the Unlimited Golf packages. At Is Molas they include a double room with breakfast and unlimited green fees on the 27 holes of the club, host of four Italian Opens, for 3, 5 or 7 nights, from April to October excluding July and August. Pevero sells a similar formula to guests staying at Cala di Volpe: unlimited play, breakfast in the main restaurant, one 18-hole round for two and discounted lessons. The conditions published for Pevero excluded peak summer (in 2025, from 23 June to 14 September) and require a maximum handicap of 54.
One green fee a day, or two per room
Terme di Saturnia builds its Golf Inclusive around time: one 18-hole green fee per day for each player and half price for the second guest, plus a couples' cryotherapy session and a discount on Swing&SPA treatments. The course lies inside the resort. Verdura, by contrast, counts per room: two green fees per room per night, on the Links or the Shore, plus the practice range and a half-hour lesson with Trackman. One thing to know before booking: as of 3 October 2026, on the course the West Shore has turf works until spring 2027 and the nine-hole Executive is closed until the same date.
Few rounds, carefully chosen
Other packages do not bank on quantity. Picciolo sells the Golf Escape with 2, 3 or 5 green fees depending on the stay, unlimited tokens for the practice range and 90 minutes of spa a day; those accompanying a golfer without playing can spend the value of the green fees on treatments. The Grand Hotel Rimini and the Royal Hotel Sanremo offer two green fees per person: in Rimini at Rimini Verucchio, with tee-time booking and bag storage; in Sanremo at the club of the Ulivi, with one dinner included and a fixed date in the calendar, the Royal Golf Challenge on 24 and 25 October 2026. At Villa d'Este the 2026 package includes one 18-hole green fee, golf cart and club hire, and is valid from 21 March to 21 November with some dates excluded; at the Montorfano club the course is closed on Tuesdays.
South Tyrol and Lake Garda: the discount formulas
In South Tyrol the package is often a system of benefits. The Hotel Castel includes in the stay the Golfcard with 20% off the green fee at the nine courses of the province and sells a golf offer of at least five nights on half board with a scrub and a 50-minute massage. The Hotel Turm offers a 20% discount and guaranteed tee times at Golf St. Vigil Seis, with three packages of 3 to 7 nights between 3 May and 25 October 2026. On Lake Garda, the Quellenhof Lazise offers the 7=6 Golf Getaway from 25 October to 8 November 2026: seven nights for the price of six and four green fees among Golf Club Verona, Paradiso del Garda, Ca' degli Ulivi and Chervò San Vigilio.
Apulia: Play & Stay
The Masseria San Domenico combines three nights, three restaurant dinners, two green fees and a golf cart for two days at San Domenico Golf, 18 holes, par 72, by the sea. It is valid in spring, from 7 April to 31 May, and in October. To play you need an EGA handicap of no more than 36 and golf attire: no jeans or shorts. For guests, in 2026, the 18-hole green fee costs 65 to 105 euros instead of 95-150.
How to read a package
Before signing, four questions: how many green fees are included and whether they count per person or per room; for how many nights at minimum; which dates are excluded, because high season often is; which handicap the course requires. Among these twelve hotels the answers range from "unlimited" to "two rounds in all".
