The Golf Club Petersberg course: 18 holes among copses and ponds

The layout is an 18-hole par 71 by the architect Marco Croze, at around 1,250 metres above sea level. The club describes it as having small stands of old trees and picturesque ponds that sit within the Alpine landscape, with the Dolomites as a backdrop. According to the club, it is among the most beautiful in South Tyrol.

The hole the club cites as its emblem is the 17th: an old mill pond lies between the elevated tee and the green behind it. The rating for men and women is published on the website in dedicated tables.

The history of the par has a twist: until 2001 the course was a par 67, then it was converted to par 71, the current configuration. The website does not give the total length in metres in its text.
