The courses at Parco de' Medici Golf Club: 27 holes inside Rome
Parco de' Medici has 27 holes divided into three nine-hole courses: the White, the Blue and the Red. The club, opened in the 1990s, covers 85 hectares inside the Grande Raccordo Anulare. The design is marked by technical bunkers and water hazards that are far from easy, with lakes that can be seen even from the clubhouse.
The club's website publishes no par, lengths, architect or hole-by-hole details, so none are given here: for detailed information you can call the secretary's office on +39 06 6528 7345.
Playing at Parco de' Medici as a guest
The price list on the website, which carries no year, gives a green fee of 90 euros on weekdays and 110 at weekends and on public holidays, without specifying whether this refers to 18 holes. A golf car costs 40 euros for a weekday afternoon and 55 for the day; at weekends and on public holidays 55 and 70. A rental bag costs 30 euros (15 for a half set), a single club 8, a pull trolley 10. The driving range costs 20 euros per session, or 150 for ten.
Hotel-plus-green-fee packages are offered with the Sheraton Rome Parco de' Medici, next to the course. The required handicap and closing day are not stated: it is best to check with the secretary's office.
The club: clubhouse, academy and teams
The clubhouse has a country-style feel, with large windows over the putting greens and the lakes, and the Limonaia room for presentations and press conferences. There are a bar, a restaurant, a pro shop and a swimming pool. The club organises the members' championship, regular competitions, clinics and youth activities, and has a Golf Academy.
In 2025 the men's team won the National Selection in Ferrara, earning promotion to Serie A2.
