The Moncalieri course was designed by two Californian architects, Robert Muir Graves and Damian Pascuzzo, who in 2002 carved nine holes out of 23 hectares on the left bank of the Po. Play takes place in the Vallere Regional Park, ten minutes from Turin, with the Moncalieri castle as a backdrop.

The course at Moncalieri Golf Club: 9 holes in the Vallere Park
Moncalieri Golf Club is a nine-hole course opened in 2002 and designed by the Californian firm of Robert Muir Graves with Damian Pascuzzo. It covers 23 hectares along the left bank of the Po, inside the Vallere Regional Park, about ten minutes from the centre of Turin. The club notes that the holes look out over the Moncalieri castle and the hills.
The website describes the layout as "a course that obliges players to use every iron in the bag". The club does not publish par, lengths or course rating on its website, so they are not given here. To play 18 holes, the round is repeated, as the price list shows, with separate rates for nine and eighteen holes.
Playing Moncalieri Golf Club as a guest
The course is closed on Tuesdays, except on public holidays. Arriving players must register and pay the green fee at the secretary's office before going out on the course or the practice area. The office can be reached on +39 011 647 99 18 and 99 19, or by email at [email protected].
The price list published on the website gives no year of validity, so it is worth confirming before setting out. It lists 30 euros for 9 holes and 50 euros for 18 holes, with junior rates of 15 and 25 euros. A golf buggy costs 25 euros for nine holes and 50 for eighteen. The driving range costs 15 euros from March to November and 10 euros from November to February. The website states no minimum handicap.
The club: academy, pro shop and restaurant
Alongside the course are a driving range, a golf academy with lessons and a pro shop stocking brands such as Callaway, Titleist, Ping, TaylorMade and Mizuno. The bar-restaurant serves regional products and can also be used for private and corporate events, with a dedicated line on +39 011 642 36 14.
The car park has charging points for electric cars. The website also carries a calendar of competitions with the club's fixtures.
