Golf at Andreus: Passeier.Meran on the doorstep
The hotel sits directly on the Golf Club Passeier.Meran course: 18 holes, a 3-hole short course, a putting and chipping green and a two-storey driving range, partly covered, with 20 bays. The season runs from March to December.
Playing elsewhere does not mean paying full price: the hotel says guests get special green fees on every course in South Tyrol. Lana Gutshof Brandis is about 25 minutes away and Appiano about 30; Dolomiti Golf in Sarnonico, San Vigilio Siusi, Petersberg and Alta Badia take about 50 minutes each, and Carezza about 85.
Bags go into a free, video-monitored caddy room. PGA professionals give paid lessons, and the hotel organises outings to other courses and guest tournaments. On rainy days there is the Trackman simulator with an indoor putting green at the nearby Golf Lodge, free from 8 am to 10 pm.

Andreus: a family-run resort in the Passeier valley
The Fink family has run Andreus since 2009: Helga Dorfer Fink and Richard Fink are in charge, while their sons Daniel and Michael are the in-house sommeliers. The 85 rooms and suites, from 38 to 325 m², are finished in local wood and stone.
In summer 2025 the Sky wing was added, linked to the main building by an underground passage, with villas that have their own pool, whirlpool and sauna. The hotel even has a helipad. The family group also includes the adults-only Golf Lodge and the four-star Sonnenalm.
Spa and pools at Andreus: 8,000 square metres
The wellness area covers 8,000 m², 2,500 of them given over to saunas. The showpiece is the DOME: 85 square metres and five metres high, with up to six Aufguss sessions a day led by a world champion of the discipline.
There are seven pools, among them a 33.33-metre sports pool with automatic timing, an adults-only saltwater infinity pool on the fifth floor and a natural swimming pond. There is even a cryotherapy chamber at −85 °C.
Dining and wine at Andreus
Dinner is served in the panoramic restaurant on the fifth floor, as a six-course menu or à la carte. Every week the Fink brothers lead tastings in the hotel's wine cellar.
Andreus with children
Younger guests have the FINKI Island adventure playground with its pirate ship, a 15-seat cinema, a small zoo with alpacas and riding stables just below the hotel.
Did you know? Andreus Golf & Spa Resort
- A sauna record. The hotel bills the DOME as the largest event sauna in the Alpine arc; there are ten saunas in all.
- The house wine, literally. With the Kornellhof winery and the Wezl distillery in the Passeier valley, Daniel Fink created the FINKI'S range: a Merlot, a Pinot Bianco, a grappa and a brandy made from Fuji apples. The gin comes from a partnership with Distilleria Walcher.
- Cheese with a taste of hay. To go with those wines, South Tyrolean food expert Hansi Baumgartner created two cheeses: a raw cow's-milk one finished with vine leaves and beeswax, and a goat's cheese flavoured with Passeier valley hay.
- Hoteliers by birth. Helga Fink grew up in her parents' hotel, the Quellenhof; Richard Fink ran the Hotel Dolomitenblick in Collalbo, on the Renon plateau, for more than thirty years until 2007.
- A sheltered course. In the hotel's own assessment, Passeier.Meran is little exposed to wind thanks to its valley-floor setting, while water hazards keep the round varied.
