In 1993 fifty-five enthusiasts from the Val Pusteria founded a club with four holes and a par of 12, next to the Riscone lifts. Thirty years later that course has become a nine-hole, par 33 layout at the foot of Plan de Corones, and the club already has its eye on 18.

The Golf Club Pustertal course: 9 holes between woods and meadow at Riscone
The course lies at Riscone, the district of Brunico from which the Plan de Corones lifts depart. The terrain is open and rolling: some holes run among the trees, others in open country. The club describes wide fairways, where the driver can be used without too much worry, and well-defended greens that demand precision on approach shots: a layout suited to beginners and experienced players alike.
The nine holes measure 2,690 metres for a par 33. Anyone playing 18 completes two rounds, on a card that runs from the 5,380 metres of the white tees (course rating 68.8, slope 136) to the 3,964 metres of the orange, for a par 66. The record belongs to Thomas Pramstaller, who finished in 64 strokes from the white tees in 2016; from the par 66, the best is the 65 of Matteo Broli, in 2021.
The practice area includes a partly covered driving range, a chipping green, a putting green, a practice bunker and a pitching area.
Playing Golf Club Pustertal as a guest
The 2026 season opens on 4 April; the club gives the closing date as the end of October on the rates page and 2 November on the home page. The course is open from 9 am to 5 pm. To play you need a valid membership card and the green card. Tee times are booked online or by phone, and must be cancelled at least 24 hours ahead: otherwise the green fee is charged.
The 2026 price list sets 52 euros for 9 holes and 95 euros for 18, with use of the driving range included; young people under 18 get a 30% discount, members of South Tyrolean clubs 20%. Guests of partner hotels pay less: up to a free green fee for the Gold category. Anyone who only wants to practise pays 10 euros for entry to the practice area and 2 euros for every 20 balls.
You can rent golf carts (35–50 euros), trolleys, including electric ones (6–22 euros), and full sets of clubs (30–40 euros).
The club: history, clubhouse and school
The club's history is one of moves. Founded in 1993 as Golfclub Kronplatz, with a four-hole executive course near the ski runs, the following year it won recognition from the Italian Golf Federation as a promotional course. Between 1998 and 2003 it moved near the Harrasser farmstead and went to six holes; in 2005 it opened the nine holes and took the name Golf Club Pustertal. Today the club is the main shareholder of the company managing the future extension to 18 holes.
The clubhouse has a small pro shop, changing rooms with showers and the Bar Ristorante GOLF, which serves local, Mediterranean and Indian cuisine and is open every day until 9 pm, to non-players too, with a sunny terrace overlooking the course. The school has been in the hands of the pro Antonio Saragnese since 2012: individual lessons, courses for the green card and improvement.
