Golf Club Città di Asti

The layout at Golf Club Città di Asti is a nine-hole par 66 of 2,400 metres in all: figures that describe a short, technical course, where precision and iron play count for more than power. The ground is flat, so it is easy to walk, but water comes into play and has to be reckoned with on every shot.

The course lies at Recinto San Rocco, on the edge of Asti, which makes it a convenient option for a quick round even for those visiting Monferrato, the land of Barbera and Moscato. The nine-hole format suits half-days, or an 18-hole round played twice.

On site you can hire electric buggies, electric trolleys and manual trolleys, and there are changing rooms reserved for guests.

Its history is one of gradual growth: the club began in 2001 as a driving range, the first four holes were built in 2004, and since 2006 the course has been complete at nine holes.

For practice there are the driving range, the putting green, the pitching green and a practice bunker. The clubhouse has a bar and restaurant, and there is a pro shop and an outdoor pool. Among recent additions, the complex also has two covered, heated padel courts.
