An undated course description published by the masseria goes into detail: the almond trees blossom in March, a lake comes into play on holes 2 and 8, Mediterranean scrub lines holes 4 and 7, and some greens are on several levels, rewarding the short game. The olive trees, the listing says, “often come into play”. The same listing gave a length of 1,109 metres, later updated to 1,150 on the current website.
