Barialto Golf Club

Barialto is an 18-hole par 70 of about 6,000 metres according to the club, set across 70 hectares at Casamassima. The design brings together palms, centuries-old olive trees and five lakes: the club says its sand and water hazards are placed strategically to reward courage and tenacity rather than to punish mistakes.

The turf is bermuda grass, a strong, dense tropical species: tifway 419 on the fairways and tifwarf 419 on the rough. The wind, present all year round, also shapes the play, along with the mild climate. Among the holes to remember is the 13th, listed as stroke index 1, which measures 443 metres. There are four par 3s, and three of them exceed 160 metres.

The club is affiliated with the Italian Golf Federation and the course is open to non-members. Monday is the closing day; from Tuesday to Friday the hours are 8:30 am to 7 pm, on Saturday and Sunday 8 am to 7 pm, with changes when the clocks change for daylight saving time.

In the 2026 price list the weekday green fee is 70 euros for 18 holes and 45 for 9; Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays rise to 90 euros for 18 and 60 for 9. Juniors up to 18 pay 25 euros for 18 holes and 20 for 9, while the package of 10 green fees for 18 holes costs 700 euros. Golf cart hire is 55 euros for 18 holes (40 for 9), a pull trolley is 5 euros and a full bag with trolley is 30 euros. Practice on the training facilities is free with the green fee. Barialto Golf was founded in 1997 to share a passion for golf and spread the game in Apulia. The clubhouse houses the office, a technical pro shop, a bar, a relaxation room and the Villa Italia restaurant, serving traditional Apulian cuisine with a modern twist.

For practice there is a driving range with 5 covered and 10 open bays, a putting green and a pitching green with a practice bunker; access to the practice area costs 10 euros a day for non-members. The grounds also include two clay tennis courts, open to members and non-members, an outdoor swimming pool and a children's play area. The club runs competitions and evening events open to non-members, such as the 9 holes at sunset formats scheduled for summer 2026, and the Golf Hotel stands next to the club.
