The Asolo Golf Club courses: three par-36 nines in the Asolo Hills

The three nines combine in pairs for rounds of 18 holes. According to the scorecards published by the club, each is a par 36: the Red measures 2,938 metres from the yellow tees, the Yellow 2,934 and the Green 2,930. The terrain is rolling, with small lakes and water hazards.

Each nine has its own character. On the Red the toughest hole is the 6, a par 4 of 381 metres, long and slightly uphill; the 5 is a 495-metre par 5 that is hard to reach in two. The Yellow opens with a 474-metre par 5, a dogleg left with out of bounds and water, and at the 7 a par 5 with a water hazard from the fairway all the way to the green. The Green has the easiest hole on the course, the 4, but also the 7, a 358-metre par 4 with water on both sides, judged “beautiful and difficult”.
