Three nine-hole loops, three different landscapes: at Cervia the Red runs through the pine forest, the Blue circles the lakes and the Yellow imitates Scottish links. The club was founded in 1984 by the municipality together with Riviera hoteliers, to give Milano Marittima's seaside tourism one more reason to stay.

The Adriatic Golf Club Cervia course: three nines, three styles
The course grew one nine at a time. In 1986 the Red opened, designed by architect Marco Croze within the pine forest; the following year Croze completed the first 18 holes with the Blue, whose holes are ringed by lakes that, according to the club, recall the great American courses. In 2004 professional Baldovino Dassù and architect Alvise Rossi Fioravanti added the Yellow, a nine with a design inspired by Scottish links.
Red and Blue are par 36, the Yellow is a par 35: the classic Red-Blue combination gives a par 72, the other two a par 71. From the back tees the Red-Blue has a course rating of 73.0 and a slope of 129.
Since 2008 the fairways and tees of all 27 holes have been converted to Bermuda grass, Riviera variety, which withstands the summer heat; in autumn the course is overseeded with ryegrass so that the turf stays green in winter too.
Playing at Adriatic Golf Club Cervia as a guest
The club welcomes outside players and the price list is split into two seasons. In 2026 low season (January to March and November to December) costs €70 for 18 holes on weekdays and €80 at weekends and holidays; in high season, from 1 April to 31 October, it rises to €100 and €120. Those wanting the full round of 27 holes pay from €80 to €140; FIG members and guests of partner hotels get reduced rates, and there are dedicated prices for juniors.
A golf cart costs €30 for nine holes and €50 for 18, a trolley €5. The course and practice range are open from 8:30 am to 7:15 pm, the office until 7 pm. Soft spikes are mandatory on the course.
The club: clubhouse, restaurant and practice range
The clubhouse has a terrace overlooking the courses, a video room and a lounge with a fireplace. The restaurant focuses on quick lunches, Romagna cuisine and homemade desserts, with an aperitif at weekends. At the entrance is the pro shop, which hosts custom fitting days throughout the year.
For practice the club has a double-ended driving range, two putting greens, a pitching green and three executive holes. The staff includes four professionals, and the Junior Club follows members up to age 18 with courses at three levels, from first steps to competitive play.
Curiosities about Adriatic Golf Club Cervia
- A course wanted by the municipality. The club was born in 1984 at the initiative of the Municipality of Cervia and many local tourism entrepreneurs.
- A professional's nine. The Yellow was designed jointly by Baldovino Dassù, a professional player, and architect Alvise Rossi Fioravanti.
- Grass cut to one centimetre. The Bermuda fairways are mowed every two days to 10 millimetres; according to the club, the conversion has eliminated pesticides and reduced water use.
