Golf near MarePineta Resort: Adriatic Golf Club Cervia

MarePineta Resort has no golf course: the club in the area is Adriatic Golf Club Cervia, in Milano Marittima on Viale Jelenia Gora.

The club is a 27-hole layout by Marco Croze, through pine forest, meadows, dunes and small lakes: it recalls both Scottish links and big American landscapes. It has a driving range, two putting greens, a pitching green, a pro shop, rental of bags, trolleys and golf carts, and a bar-restaurant. The course is open all year and holds a competition every weekend from January to December.

The club is independent of the hotel: for tee times, contact its office directly.

MarePineta Resort: from Hotel Mare e Pineta to the Lissoni project

Milano Marittima was founded on 14 August 1912 by Giuseppe Palanti and others, with the idea of a "garden city". Between 1926 and 1927 the Hotel Mare e Pineta opened, a name joining the two souls of the place. Since 1995 it has been owned by the Salaroli family, who have run the hotel directly since 2021.

In 2014 Milan's Lissoni Associati redesigned the complex with a new hotel wing, the restaurant and connecting spaces; later work added an art gallery and a Sculpture Park. Rooms are spread across the Casa Madre, the historic core from the 1920s, the Cubo Lissoni, Villa Regina and the new Club House, with suites of 29, 48 and 54 m² opening directly onto the tennis courts. Nearly all have a balcony with views from garden to sea. The hotel is 200 metres from the centre of Milano Marittima.
