At Florinas the same grass hosts two different kinds of golf: on even days you play the standard nine-hole course, on odd days the pitch&putt. The club, founded in 2014 on the edge of the village, says it is the only golf course in the province of Sassari and has chosen to run without pesticides.

The Florinas Golf course: nine holes and a pitch&putt on the same ground
Florinas Golf presents itself as a multifunctional golf course: two disciplines are played on the same ground, alternating by day. On even days the standard 9-hole course is in play, on odd days the pitch&putt; flags and clear signage help tell the two layouts apart.
The standard nine is a par 30, with yellow tees for men and red for women: it is the longer and more technical layout, meant for those who want a round in the traditional format. The pitch&putt, with unisex black-and-white tees, is a quicker game, suited to beginners and experienced players alike.
The local rules mention a ruin beside the green on the 2nd hole, a dry-stone wall that marks the left boundary and the end of the 3rd and 4th holes, and the boulders around the bunker on the 7th. On the intensively managed surfaces the club has chosen warm-season grasses, which use far less water than traditional turf.
Playing Florinas Golf as a guest
Booking, registration and payment of the green fee are done online only: the club office is, as the club itself puts it, “digital”. Equipment hire can also be added during the process.
According to the official price list the green fee is 40 euros (the item refers to 18 holes), and a single payment gives access to both courses. The practice area alone costs 10 euros, while a bucket of 20–25 balls costs 2 euros. Those who want to play regularly will find the 2026 full membership, with access to the whole facility without green fees, at 1,200 euros in the standard version, with reduced rates for members of other FIG-affiliated clubs and for family members.
The course lies on the western edge of Florinas, in the Cantaru Ena area: from Sassari take the SS 131 south and, after 16 kilometres, the SP 3, which leads to the village in two kilometres.
The club: school, practice area and environmental philosophy
Florinas Golf S.r.l. is an amateur sports company founded in 2014 and affiliated with the FIG. It runs both competitive activity and the golf school, led by a Federal Instructor: there are dedicated packages for beginners, and the equipment for the first shots is included in the price. For practice there is a driving range with grass and synthetic bays, a pitching green and a large putting green.
The club prides itself on affordable prices, comparable to those of a gym or a tennis court, and on a clear environmental choice: zero pesticides, water consumption reduced to about a quarter of that of ordinary agricultural crops, a photovoltaic plant covering about 60% of energy needs, old farm buildings restored instead of new construction, and the reclamation of an old quarry.
The pitch&putt tournaments stand out on the calendar: the course hosted the Italian Open Pitch&Putt on 4 and 5 October 2025 and in October 2026 hosts the Sardinia International Pitch&Putt.
