Riviera Golf Resort

Riviera Golf Resort has its course on site: 18 holes par 70 designed by Luigi Rota Caremoli and Graham Cooke. Some fairways follow the gentle lie of the land, others are American-style, long with broad greens; multiple tees adapt the challenge to each player. The course lies inside the Conca wildlife oasis.

Beside it is the 9-hole executive course, par 27, 1,692 metres long, fitted since 2016 with pitch and putt tees: it hosts the San Marino International Pitch & Putt Open every year. FootGolf is played on the same layout, with a football and a hole 50 centimetres wide.

The practice range has 12 covered bays and grass tees for 50 players, plus a practice bunker, pitching and putting greens. Guests find a club house, bag storage, golf cart and equipment rental; tee times are booked with the golf office. Instructors of the Mauro Bianco Golf Academy coach beginners and experienced players. For a tailored stay the resort builds a Stay & Play offer with the green fees you choose.

The resort is an albergo diffuso at via Conca Nuova 1236, on the border between the Marche and Emilia-Romagna. The 32 suites are all different and furnished by internationally known designers, and every suite has a bathtub in the room.

The 12 Riviera suites are each by a different designer: six have a private garden and six a large balcony over the golf course. The 16 Green suites are the work of 14 designers and range from Victorian-style to futuristic, Arabian to African. The 4 Villa units are mini apartments with a private garden, inspired by Pablo Neruda and Danko Maver. In every category pets are allowed.

The outdoor pool is 82 metres long, entirely in white Noto stone, more than 3 metres deep at its deepest, with king-size wooden loungers. It is free for hotel guests; outside visitors pay. The Riviera Oasis Club is the resort's pool club, which it presents as the second largest private pool in Europe.

The Riviera Wellness & SPA has a heated indoor pool with whirlpool, a recovery walkway and counter-current swimming, plus sauna, emotional showers, a chromotherapy circuit, Turkish bath and a herbal tea corner. Massages are available on request.

The Riviera Oasis Restaurant offers a menu that follows the seasons, at lunch and dinner, with tables overlooking the pool's reflection. The Buca 19 Bistrot is the pick for a quick dish after the round, and the Champagnerie Ferrari at the Riviera Oasis Club serves sparkling wine and cocktails until after sunset. The resort also arranges a tasting visit to the Enio Ottaviani winery at San Clemente.

The Senza Confini offer includes a free stay for dogs, with no weight or number limit, and access to the whole property except the spa. For activity there are 2 regulation clay tennis courts and a Tennis Academy.
