Golf near Il Boscareto: Cherasco, between Langhe and Roero
Il Boscareto has no golf course and offers no golf services: golfers book directly with the club.
The local reference is Golf Club Cherasco, an 18-hole par-72 course in the province of Cuneo, among the hills of the Langhe and Roero, where the Tanaro and Stura rivers meet. The design, by architect Marco Croze, dates from 1979 and the club was founded in 1982. The layout is a hilly parkland.
The rest of the day can be spent nearby: the hotel offers truffle hunting with expert hunters, walks among Barolo vineyards, bike rides on the hills and guided visits to the 14th-century Serralunga castle.

Il Boscareto Resort & Spa: a resort among the Serralunga vineyards
The resort opened in 2009 at the initiative of the Dogliani family, who also own the Batasiolo winery whose vines surround the hotel. After a renovation there are 49 rooms and suites: 39 refurbished and 10 added.
There are six categories, from the Classic to the Terrace Suite. The five Terrace Junior Suites have terraces over the vineyards and the village of Serralunga, with views on clear days as far as Monte Rosa and Rocciamelone. Guests get dedicated fibre internet, room service and spa access; for those arriving by air there is a heliport, while the covered car park has 62 spaces and three charging points.
La Rei Natura and Il Sunsì: dining at Il Boscareto
La Rei Natura by Michelangelo Mammoliti earned three stars in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide. The chef, of Calabrian heritage, works with vegetables from his own biodynamic gardens and offers three tasting menus: De Rerum (ten courses), MAD 100% Natura, fully plant-based, and Voyage. According to the Guide it opens Wednesday to Friday for dinner and Saturday and Sunday for lunch.
The dining room has adobe walls and a terracotta floor «laid like a network of Roman roads»; desserts are prepared at the table in a dedicated room, and there is a sharing table for eight. More informal is Il Sunsì Bistrot under chef Alessandro Capalbo.
La Sovrana Spa at Il Boscareto: water and vineyards
La Sovrana Spa spreads over two levels: above, the «water room» with a 28°C pool and a 33°C whirlpool, below, the wellness path with a Finnish sauna, an aromatic Turkish bath, a frigidarium and emotional showers. The windows, the hotel says, withdraw underground and leave the vineyard view open in every season.
The water room is open 8 am to 8 pm, the wellness path 10 am to 8 pm. Under-14s may use the pool from 8 am to 2 pm, with an adult; the whirlpool is for ages 14 and over. There is also a Technogym gym.
