Cala del Porto Punta Ala

The hotel has no golf course and golf is not among its services: players book directly with the club. The Michelin Guide lists «golf nearby» and the Preferred Hotels site names a golf club among local activities.

The reference is Golf Club Punta Ala, on Via del Golf, in the same village. The course has 18 holes, par 72, measures 6,168 metres, was built in 1964 and has sea views and Mediterranean vegetation. Course Rating runs from 71.9 to 73.9 and Slope from 134 to 140 depending on the tees. The club is independent of the hotel.

The hotel opened in 1974 and was renovated in 2024. It has 41 rooms: some look out over the sea towards Elba, others open onto the garden or the pool area. The Michelin Guide describes the atmosphere as «classic contemporary and tranquil».

The Punta Ala marina is directly accessible from the hotel. Among local activities the Preferred Hotels site also lists a polo club, tennis club, yacht club and wine tours. Pets are accepted on request.

Wellness centres on the Gemology Beauty Spa, with a wellness corner. The hotel also has an outdoor pool, a fitness area and, according to the Michelin Guide, a sauna, jacuzzi and a tennis court.

The pale-sand private beach is reached by the hotel's transfer service.

The restaurant is the Belvedere, Italian cuisine for 60 guests, joined by the Belvedere Bar (20 seats) and the Pool Terrace. The Michelin Guide notes 24-hour room service and, among nearby restaurants, three listed in the guide, one of them starred: La Trattoria Enrico Bartolini.
