Facts checked on 18/10/2026

Here the golf is drawn by the vineyards: the Mirabella Golf Club, created by the Mastroberardino family within the Radici Resort, alternates holes set among rows of vines and olive trees with others in the woods, among gullies, streams and three ponds. The course is a nine-holer with double tees, so the round of 18 genuinely changes the type of shot.

The Mirabella Golf Club course: nine holes among vineyards and olive groves

The course is, in the club's words, above all the work of nature: in the hills of Irpinia, land that has been devoted to wine and oil for centuries, the Mastroberardino family laid out the course following natural terraces, undulations and paths. Some holes are set among vineyards and olive groves, others run between tall trees, ridges, gullies and streams.

The hazards include steep drops, watercourses, three ponds, wooded areas and natural terraces, on a course that the club describes as physically demanding to walk. Short holes with big changes in level alternate with longer, straighter ones, and the layout allows a choice between bold and more cautious strategies.

There are nine holes with standard rating from the Italian Golf Federation. Each hole has a double tee to distinguish the front and back nine: the 18-hole round measures 3,700 metres and is par 62. Greens and tees are creeping bentgrass (agrostis stolonifera), fairways and rough bermudagrass (cynodon dactylon), a warm-season grass that needs little water.

The club: Radici Resort, driving range and competitions

The Mirabella Golf Club is based inside the Radici Resort, owned by the Mastroberardino family. Behind the clubhouse is the driving range, separate from the course: targets from 50 to 200 metres, two rows of open bays, one row of covered bays and lighting for evening practice. There is also a short-game area with green and bunker and a nine-hole putting green of about 450 square metres, floodlit.

The Golf Academy offers a programme with instructors from the Italian Golf Federation National School; lessons are given by the federal PGAI instructor Massimo Passamonti.

The 2026 competition calendar runs from January to December: the Radici Golf Cup, the Trofeo del Maestro, the Trofeo Radici 2026, an interregional AGIS event on 11 April, the Pro Am Mercedes on 24 October and the Coppa del Presidente on 12 December.
