The Golf Club San Michele course: 9 panoramic holes in Cetraro
The course is a nine-hole layout that the club calls panoramic, built on a plateau that breaks off at a 120-metre cliff dropping sheer to the Tyrrhenian Sea: from every hole the eye falls on the water and the Calabrian hills. The website gives a par of 70, with double tees meant to make the layout more varied and to set the first round apart from the second: that is how nine holes become an eighteen-hole day.
The club presents it as a technical and enjoyable course, suited to those taking their first steps as well as to long-time players. Yardages, architect and year of construction are not published: for the scorecard it is best to contact the club office.

The club: Grand Hotel San Michele, school and competitions
Golf Club San Michele was born inside the Grand Hotel San Michele, a four-star property that is its hospitality partner. The president is Giuseppe Bitonti. The club offers lessons with professionals for children, teenagers and adults, and a driving range.
The calendar is full: in 2026 the course hosted the MGA Tour final (April), a day marking the hundredth anniversary of Fonderie Zicarelli (May) and a visit from Wake Forest University students; at the end of May the Interclub Circuit got under way, with its first leg at Tauriana Golf Club. The Golf è Donna project, supported by the Federation, is dedicated to the growth of women's golf.
