Golf Club La Faula

The course consists of nine executive holes, a shorter format suited to those who are starting out or want to play in less time. The club places it in one of the most enchanting hilly landscapes of Friuli, on Via della Faula at Ravosa di Povoletto, in the Udine area.

Beside the course is the practice area: a driving range with covered and open bays, a short-game area and a synthetic putting green. Yardages, par and architect are not published by the club.

The most practical detail is the floodlighting of the driving range, which, according to the club, is unique in the region and makes it possible to practise in the evening too.

For beginners, a teaching professional runs group courses for getting to know the game and individual lessons to improve technique. Life at the club revolves around a competition with an unusual name, the Coppa del nonno (“Grandfather’s Cup”): a multi-round tournament for La Faula members and friends over 60. The calendar also includes open days and events, to which the club devotes a section of its website.
