At holes 9 and 18 of Golf Club Jesolo you arrive at the same green: a shared double green, one of the most recognisable features of a course built on sandy ground that, according to the club, drains even in the rain. The overall project, signed by Gian Paolo Mar and Marco Croze, was completed in 2004.

The Golf Club Jesolo course: 18 holes among lakes, streams and dunes
The layout measures 6,397 metres for a par 72 and was designed by the architects Gian Paolo Mar and Marco Croze within an area of 900,000 square metres, which also includes a residential zone with about 200 apartments. The overall investment, completed in 2004, was 36 million euros.
It is a flat course, where water and bunkers decide. The lakes come into play on holes 2, 3, 8, 13, 14, 15 and 17, while a small stream runs along the 1st and 9th and cuts the fairways of the 18th in two. The 13th hole has a double fairway at 240 metres, with the lake always on the right. The longest par 4 is the 12th, the longest par 3 the 15th; the 8th hole, a dog-leg left with a large lake, has no bunkers but asks you to choose whether to cut the corner.
In the finish the landscape changes: on the 16th, a par 5 that the club describes as the easiest on the course, and on the 18th the dunes that line the fairway appear. The 18th, a par 5 with two streams, ends on the double green shared with the 9th, in a very recognisable closing hole.
The sandy soil is the feature the club puts first: it drains very well and, again according to Golf Club Jesolo, makes the course suitable for play even in the winter months.

The club: Academy, restaurant and practice range
For practice, Golf Club Jesolo has a practice range with double bays, a putting green, a pitching area and two executive holes.
The Golf Jesolo Academy is directed by Luis Vega, a professional trained at the National Golf Centre in Spain and a member of the Alps Tour since 2017, after an experience on the Asian Tour in 2018-2019. It offers group courses for 3 to 6 people for adults and children and individual lessons, in Italian, English and Spanish.
The bar and the restaurant are open to everyone, golfers and non-golfers, from 7 am until sunset; the restaurant is closed on Mondays. The menu runs from large salads to pasta first courses, from mixed fried fish to Fassona beef burgers. The club is part of the Global Golf Company group, which manages courses in several European countries.
