The club: founders, wood and sanctuary
The club was founded in 1997 by seven founding members, among them Franco Orsini, president since 2022. The first presidency was held by Luciano Valussi (1997-2002). The professional is Stefano Pitoni.
The course lies at the foot of Mount Terminillo, one kilometre from the Franciscan Sanctuary of La Foresta, where St Francis is believed to have written his famous canticle.
