Facts checked on 18/10/2026

Golf Club Cavaglià was born in 1998 with just 6 holes and has changed shape several times: 9 holes par 73 in 1999, 6 executive holes in 2001, then in 2014 the works that fused everything into a single par 68 course of 4,600 metres, opened with a Pro Am on 24 April 2015. Today, about 1 km from the Santhià motorway exit, it is a club with a hotel, a steak house and the first Mizuno Fitting Centre in Italy.

The Golf Club Cavaglià course: 18 holes in a single design

The story of the layout is that of a course that grew in stages. The initial 6 holes of 1998 became 9 holes par 73 with double tees in 1999; in 2001 the club opened 6 executive holes. In 2014 work began to turn the land into a single par 68 course of 4,600 metres, opened with a Pro Am on 24 April 2015.

The par 68 and the modest distances make it a course to be played with the head more than with power, suited both to those taking up the game and to those who want a quick round. The tees are varied: yellow for men, red for women, with green and orange as forward tees for under-12s and, optionally, for seniors over 65, as the club's 2026 local rules state. The club publishes the 2018 course rating and the scorecard on its website.

Playing at Golf Club Cavaglià as a guest

Tee times are booked at the office (0161 966771) or through the club's online booking service. The 2026 price list sets a green fee of 60 euros on weekdays and 80 euros on public holidays, discounted to 50 and 70 euros for players with partner agreements; prices include VAT. You can hire a pull trolley (10 euros) or a golf cart for 18 holes (50 euros), with a 5-round card at 200 euros. The 20-token card (25 balls each) costs 35 euros, while a single entry to the practice area is 10 euros.

Those who want to start can use the “Try golf” package: 5 individual lessons of 30 minutes for 99 euros, with equipment and tokens included. For opening hours, closing day and access conditions it is best to contact the office.

The club: Mizuno practice area, PGA pros, hotel and restaurant

The Mizuno practice area has 11 outdoor and 9 covered bays, a large putting green and a pitching green. It is home to the first Mizuno Fitting Centre in Italy, where you can try the brand's full range of equipment and book a custom fitting with Enrico Bertaina. The school is run by the PGA pros Vincenzo Pelle, Pino Monteleone and Marco Hofer, who organise individual and group lessons, golf clinics abroad and golf days; for beginners the club recommends training twice a week, once with the pro, to reach the course in 3 or 4 months.

Next to the course is the Golf Hotel Cavaglià, designed for golfers' stays. The Prateria Steak House & Sports Bar serves meat and American specialities with a view of the course. The club also offers tennis and a swimming pool, with free entry for annual and weekday subscribers on the days their membership is valid, and a Tesla Supercharger near the entrance.
