In Marche, golf is played between sea and hills. At Sirolo, on the Conero Riviera, the front nine of the Conero Golf Club circle a lake, while the back nine climb the hillside with countryside views all the way to the 18th hole.
Inland, in the Aso Valley, the course at I Lauri, in Montefiore dell'Aso, has a different enemy from length: a stream that cuts across the 2nd and 4th holes in a narrow valley. Two courses, two characters, for discovering a region still little visited by golfers.
